Jewelry Trends on Channel 15 News
Posted on April 10 2015
Hi Bellas. Zoe here.
This past Tuesday (4/7/15) I got up super early and headed to NBC15 WMTV station in Madison to talk about the latest jewelry trends live on the morning show.
Meredith Barack (filling in for Christine Bellport) and she and I talked briefly about 4 hot jewelry trends anyone can wear.

In case you missed it, here's a recap of the trends we featured:
70's inspired clothing is H-O-T this season. You don't need to look like you just stepped out of Studio 54 to make this trend work for you. In fact, in my opinion, little touches of 70's inspired clothing of jewelry is all it takes. Try a flare jean. Or a vest with fringe. Or large geometric earrings. Just don't combine too many of these 70's trends and you stay fashion forward.
On Channel 15 we featured several earrings from Grayling Jewelry & a Lucky Brand necklace with fringe.
2. Statement Earrings
Big statement earrings are popular again this year. We often hear from customers that this is one trend they can't follow because they don't want to wear an earring that pulls on their ear too much. I am here to tell you that a statement earring doesn't have to be heavy. In fact, you can make a big impact with a lightweight earring like these:
3. Layering & mixed metals
Don't be afraid to layer multiple bracelets or necklaces & mix up the metals. Silver, gold, rose gold, brass, gunmetal... it all goes together & gives you an edgy, fashion forward look. Fasten necklaces at different lengths so they don't get tangled.
If you have a hard time picking out bracelets or necklaces that go together, consider investing in a bracelet that gives you the stacked look.
Try adding a little bling into your wardrobe with crystals & gemstones this Spring. Natural looking crystals are especially hot right now. We love the options from Grayling Jewelry & that they are all made in Portland, OR.
P.S. Fran from Makeup by Francesca did my makeup. I was up late watching the Wisconsin Badgers in the playoff game and got about 3 hours of sleep the night before. Isn't she a miracle worker?!?
